In Focus: St. Ann Kite Festival

St. ANN KITE FESTIVAL

The St. Ann Kite Festival is indeed a kite flying event with kite flying competitions. It is also a classical Jamaican family fun day with fun for kids and contests for adults during the day. Day activities include a Kite competition, a dancing competition and a bun eating competition! The early evening entertainment comes in the form of a reggae stage show, just how we like it. And there’s food of course.

WHEN

On Easter monday, a public holiday in Jamaica. Easter monday 2016 is march 28. The 2016 edition will be the 13th staging of the festival.  The doors open at 10 am and the stage show starts at 5pm. You should be there all day, it's great.
