STEPPING HIGH FESTIVAL
The Stepping High festival is, not surprisingly, a ganja festival (the longest running in the Caribbean) but, like a lot of events in Jamaica, is has it’s fair share of live reggae music. It is, in fact, called a ‘ganja music experience’. This two-day festival revolves around speakers, workshops and panel discussions, exhibitions and live entertainment.
The festival was sort of an underground event up until the de-criminalisation of marijuana in 2016. Now it’s a huge two-day fest on different locations in Negril and draws an international ganja and reggae loving crowd.
